From the forge: the Descent
✠
Workbench: UE 5.8 · dungeon generation · netcode
Steel has been forged. Every blow now comes from a side — from above, or down from either shoulder — and every weapon answers in its own way. The duel holds, so the forge has moved on: to the places where the duels will be fought, and to the threads that carry them from one player to another.
On the bench today
- The Descent: a new dungeon is laid out for every raid — rooms, passages, dead ends and the long way back. No two lobbies walk the same stone.
- What waits below: treasure, monsters, traps and bosses are set by the same hand that lays the walls, so every descent tells its own story.
- Netcode: the server judges every blow. What you see in a duel is what your enemy sees — the same swing, the same parry, the same moment.
Up to thirty players go down into one lobby — alone or in groups of up to six, leader included. Who gets out, and with what, is decided below.
The gates open in winter, on Steam. We will ring the bell again when there is something below worth showing.
